sweet Summer fun!

Golly gee, this summer has definitely been keeping us busy and surely entertained. We have had the best time visiting family, family visiting us, weekend trips away, coffee shop stops and evenings spent outdoors. The June baby in me absolutely rejoices in all this season offers! 

Just a smidgen of our adventures! Our boys make traveling so easy and love it just as much as the hubs and I do!!

quick bit.

Hey, hi, and hello! Apologies, for not poppin in any earlier here! We celebrated my handsome love's birthday back on the 8th with a family dinner and it was a fantastic time. We got to spend the evening with his side of the fam and the boys had an absolute hay day playing with their cousins. :) Taco night, and cherry cupcakes(his moms recipe) of course it was gonna be a good time!

After that bash we had a few days to wind down before our next road trip. Quick note:decided to have Ryder boy take a small hiatus from karate just through the holidays and he'll get back into it come the new year! Though it was just twice a week, we are welcoming the break. :) 

This past Sunday we got back from taking a truly splendid small vacay to the Portland area to visit family. We were able to spend three solid days there and we packed in as much as we possibly could while we were in town. The biggest reason for traveling was meeting my cousin friends sweet baby boy Hudson for the first time! We are all totally in love. Tiny, yet so alert and just the cutest personality already starting to show! My boys were so precious with him. You bet, coffee shop visits and good food made the agenda. As did face painting and IKEA! Weather was cold but it is here too so we were prepared! One of my little sisters tagged along too which made the trip even more of a blast. October Catch.

Boy. Well our family is back from our yearly hunting trip and we just wrapped up Lincoln's 2nd birthday party! Both events were so fun, leave it to me to fill you in! 

With my husbands work schedule this hunting season we only stayed at the cabin for two nights. Amazingly enough, those few days without cell service and daily hustle and bustle really just took their time. This year it was just the four of us plus our doggie and it was absolutely perfect! Our sons rough housed and played swords with old archery arrows, ran free and literally breathed in the great outdoors! A favorite of course is checking out the area with long rides on the four wheeler. Both boys could not get enough! I say this each time but it leaves me in awe of how beautiful our surroundings are and how at home all three of my guys are in such wilderness. No deer this time although our oldest got to experience firsthand what hunting is like with daddy. He walked a couple of miles and they even got close to getting one, a moment my sweet husband will remember! Now he thinks he's ready for a real bow of his own. :) Love my hunters! Each trip we always wish were longer and leaves us excited for the next time up. Such a fun and treasured time spent with my loves! Grubby, happy, blessed.
