Howdy. Did everyone enjoy their extra day off?! We most definitely did! Friday called for a pajama day so ALL day long we were comfy in our jam-jams just relaxing and kiddies playing. Saturday the littles and I took it easy in the a.m. and decided to make a Costco/Target run in the pm. Which of course also includes getting a coffee for this mama to refuel. :) It was a dreary Sunday, stormy and a ton cooler than it has been which made taking the boys to a movie an easy choice! They both did fantastic in the theater and loved Finding Dory! Listening to them giggle and watching them eat their own special snacks was seriously about the cutest thing ever. We love them so much and it makes it even sweeter because they are such grateful guys! Wrapped up Labor Day by meeting my husband's parents for breaky yesterday and the boys couldn't have been happier!
Today again has been windy, crazy how quickly summer says goodbye here and those fall breezes make themselves known.
It was back to school for Ryder and I really thought he'd have some hesitation after so many days off but was excited to see his friends and teacher and to fill them in on the fun he had over the weekend. Every day on the drive he asks to listen to the same worship song and sings his little heart out. Amazing how the presence of the Lord calms and gives peace! It was the most precious thing as we walked into the school today he held my hand and said happily, "Jesus is always with me". Yes! So true. For us all! Constantly encouraged by this boy of mine. He had a great time and I absolutely love hearing all about his day!
