For I am yours: Summer, DON'T GO!!

August 25th and we were able to have the windows open all day instead of blasting the air conditioning. Fantastic news for our bank account, but kinda a bummer for this mama! I looooove summer!! The light nights, sunny days and sno-cones! Okay, so maybe I'm enjoying this light breeze more than I let on since we are getting a break from the blistering 100+ degree days but STILL!! The kid in me dreads that its a little dark when we wake up now and the evenings creep in earlier. Definitely soaking up every last second as this season winds down!

Yesterday we just got back from our last official "summa" trip. It was a quick one but an absolute blast and memorable nonetheless! Visited my original bestie in Bend, Oregon and my goodness it is gorgeous! She and her man showed us the sights and took us to Sisters which is the quaintest and cutest little town. Coffee, lunched it up and walked the most awesome shops!

How picturesque are the clouds?! Thoroughly enjoyed the scenery and people watching. Two of my boys looking on as locals float the river. :)

Love! Home most certainly is where the heart is though so of course we have plenty of Idaho fun as well. Our aim with our kids is to show them how precious life is and how amazing God created everything! We go on walks, to parks and find places we've never been to where we live!
