Timberrr..

Flashback to earlier this week. Wednesday morning, woke up to a good ol' summer storm. Beautiful rain, loud thunder(or funduh per my three year old)and some pretty swift wind. Welp. A long story somewhat short, rain turned to downpour and wind got just a little gnarly! Then, a bout of the loudest rumbles and CRASH! 

That would be our tree in our back yard through the neighbors fence. 

Oh and on our house too! 

Turns out it split in three, damaged two different fences and our rain gutter a tad. Praise God, no roof or any other house damage. Got the husband home and several calls/hours later he decided it would be best just to do the work himself. Definitely  better for our wallet! 

Fast forward to today. Not exactly how we wanted to finish out the week or spend our weekend but I can happily report he just loaded the last of the branches to dump!! He had some help from his awesome parents for a couple hours but other than that he labored all by himself! My love is a trooper of a man!! He chainsawed that entire thing, loaded and unloaded. All the while on a sprained ankle from last weekend..such a stud!!
