Trial and error.

Siblings. The inevitable bickering. The "mine, not yours"! The pushing and shoving. Why did no one tell me this starts as soon as they're mobile??! Why in the world was I thinking I had years before I had to handle those moments? Lol! (That's me laughing at myself, by the way). 

Big brother Ryder sure loves his baby brother and you better believe nobody better mess with him. Unless it's him of course. 

Normally they are two peas in a pod and have the most fun together. This morning however, lots of attitude going on! Tiny boy two taking big bro's trains and then getting bonked in the head with a remote control Thomas to teach him a lesson I guess! Little yelps that have progressively gotten louder..my imagination perhaps? Either way, it's LOUD!!! 

There certainly are times where you just have to pick your battles and just zip it and let them work it out. The heavy on purpose head bonk though warranted some action! With discipline you soon figure out what is going to work best for your child's personality. And what consequence lines up for that specific offense. Lately we've been going with the age old timeout!

 Our child is not a fan I tell ya what. Not always a success but today it worked like a charm!!! Yay!!!! Surprisingly after that our day has gone much smoother and they are back to bestie mode.
